Madras Makkal:
The Ripon Chanpter
The artwork talks about the contrast between the administrative identity of Chennai and the grassroot people, the Madras Makkal, as it depicts the fisherfolk here. A comment on how there is a gap between the administration and the people but also, how interconnected we are and can't exist without each other, forming up a society.

This artwork talks about the contrast between the Judicial identity of Chennai and the grassroot people, the Madras Makkal, as it depicts the Rikshaw pullers here (They vastly only transport goods among the shops in Parrys these days). A comment on how there is a gap between the Judicial system and the people but also, how interconnected we are and can't exist without each other, forming up a society.
The Siege
The final strike in a siege; a woman fighting her way through a man's world; the battle of a commoner against the powerful; were a few perceptions of this art, I observed from different people. This is one of my earliest works with which, I started to explore the digital art medium and understand its nuances along the way.
Art Block
Every artist there is and has ever been, irrespective of their art form - be it digital, traditional, music, writing, performance, photography, and everything else there is - would've experienced a creative block at some point. This artwork portrays that particular phase in an artist’s creative process. Retaining my usual style, which is abstract realism, I’ve introduced a certain comical touch along with the use of (perfectly) imperfect lines.
Spaces
Spaces is a quirky attempt in portraying people being comfortable in their own spaces, totally unbothered. I took the liberty to play around with scale and proportion to create visual aberration.
Incongruity
Titled ‘Incongruity’, dissonance in subject and harmony in colours is the underlying idea of this artwork. While I generally tend to explore abstract scenarios, this particular artwork explores a relatively realistic scene without losing the essence of my art style in the portrayal of the characters.
Gleaming
Kites
Gleaming Kites is easily one of my favourite artworks, solely for its mood and simplicity. However, who would have guessed that this started as an experiment to test the native tools of Procreate?
